*I'm editing this post to add that I think this is the ugliest card that I ever made! I wasn't happy with it when I was done and I only posted it in the hopes that I would win that week's MIM (which, obviously is a random draw! LOL!

Here's my first attempt at this week's Make it Monday at Papertrey Ink: Decreasing Apertures.
I had never tried this technique before and found it quite fun.
It's a busy weekend birthday-wise for us this weekend, so I've made a few birthday cards. Here's the first one, which I will be giving to my taekwondo instructor today. (I meant to give it to her last night at our colour belt promotion test, but I forgot-- that seems to happen to me a lot. I love making cards but forget to hand them out!)
I used PTI cardstock (stamper's select white), stamps (text style I, Tranquility Trinity & Communique Sentiments) & die (mat stack #5). I also used a Tim Holtz Alterations die, Prima Flowers, Fancy Pants and My Mind's Eye patterned paper and My Mind's Eye brads.Thanks for looking!
