"Spring is coming!"

Today is the last day of winter!! Woohoo!!!

That's not to say that tomorrow we suddenly won't have to bundle up in our winter jackets to go out. And we won't be putting away our mittens and tuques just yet. But there are spots of grass on our lawn where the snow has melted and it's enough for Sage to point to the grass and announce:

"Spring is coming, Mom!"

Yes. It. Is.

And so, to welcome in the arrival of a wonderful season (wonderful because it isn't winter), Sage and I did some crafting this morning and I made this:

I saw something very similar on Ali Edward's blog like two years ago. I loved it so much I went out at bought the same Martha Stewart butterfly punch that Ali used. Again, two years ago. And I finally made it today. Oh well, better late than never, right?

And for a challenge at My Scrap Shoppe to create a layout using a premade embellishment as my title. When I saw this diecut title by My Mind's Eye at the Shoppe, I knew I had to buy it and use it on a layout about Jonah:

Thanks for looking!
Enjoy your last day of winter!! ;)

OH I love that butterfly framed picture! I remember seeing that too.
I'm also so glad that winter is almost behind us.
You just keep pumping out the layouts girl! I don't know how you are managing? How are things with all the design teams going?

Beautiful work, Leigh. Glad you stopped by my blog. Now, I know you're blogging, too.

Yeah, I remember that ski trip. I think I was probably crushing on B.M. back then. Can't remember who you like, but we were pretty boy crazy. LOL
