June PTI Blog Hop

Today is the PTI blog hop and once again, our challenge is an inspiration photo:

As soon as I saw the photo, I knew I wanted to use my Lovely Leaves and Limitless Layers Square dies..... but I had to wait for them to arrive. I got my order on Thursday and put my stamps and dies together, but this weekend was so busy that I completely forgot about the blog hop until last night at 10:10pm. I was so tired, that I decided to go to bed and just think about my idea and work on it this morning. Cameron couldn't sleep, so he was talking to me quite a bit. Then he asked: "What do you think about before going to sleep? Scrapbooking?"

I couldn't help but smile. "Well, tonight, it's card making, actually." ;)

So, I got up at 7am (after Cameron left for work--- no need to subject myself to more teasing!) and went downstairs to work on my card. I got it almost completely done before the kids woke up. :)

I used PTI cardstock (rustic white, lemon zest), stamps (lovely layers, think big favourites #12) and dies (lovely layers, limitless layers squares). The patterned paper and decorative brad are Crate Paper.

Thanks for looking!

Heehee. That's funny about your DH giving you a hard time. I think about crafting a lot too. Sometimes when I shouldn't. ;) Looks like all your "thinking about it" did the trick - it's a lovely card.

Gorgeous Leigh! Lovely layers is such a nice set. Love how you used it with the squares. What color ink did you use for the Happy Birthday? It pulled all the colors so nicely together.

What a truly delightful card! I love the window concept and the sewing!

Sorry for the late response, but yeah, challenging all the girls to use Stamps only - no other embellishments. How about make your own BG or pp with your stamps? :)
