Waiting...

I wanted to share a layout that I made this week using some gorgeous Teresa Collins patterned papers, for the challenge on the Create: blog.

I started off with a sheet of We R Memory Keepers cardstock. I trimmed the Teresa Collins patterned paper into strips and adhered it to to the cardstock and added some straight and zigzag stitching. I cut my title out using my Silhouette Portrait from the same WRMK cardstock and adhered it to my layout.

I printed my journaling onto some vellum and then diecut the edge with my Papertrey Ink Tag Sale #5 die and adhered it to my layout.

Deciding that this gorgeous paper was too pretty to cover up, I fussy cut some flowers out from behind my photo and adhered them to the front, using some dimensional adhesive, over a PTI Half & Half diecut, onto which I'd sewn the date that was printed on vellum. I added three PTI buttons and attached them with twine.

Thanks for looking!

Very lovely paper, I think it was a good choice to cut the flowers out and put them below your photo!

Beautiful layout Leigh, even if there is some turmoil in the emotion behind it. Sorry things seem unsettled now. Clarity always comes in the morning. So glad you have a faith in the God of the universe, the one who knows you intimately. Hugs.
