Summer Card Camp 2: Card #4

I have a card to share today that I made for the Summer Card Camp 2 online class that I'm taking. Today's challenge was to create a card in less than 10 minutes.

Well, I have to say that my first attempt was a fail. I tried to diecut some white letters & then diecut part of them like Jennifer Rzasa did, but it didn't work. You could totally see the ridges left by the dies on the letters. So I stopped my time and started over.

This time, I decided to use a PTI Wonderful Word diecut and make it dimensional, like how Jennifer McGuire taught us to on Day 1. I stamped the coordinating sentiment on a double-ended banner die cut from PTI. Then I stamped some WPlus9 Fresh Cut Flowers on my card and on some die cuts, only to realize that I got some ink on my fingertips and smudged them onto the left hand side of my card. Grrr! So I trimmed off the left hand side and then adhered my panel to some aqua mist card stock.

And my time....

Thanks for looking!

Wow!! You did this in under 10 minutes? Yours was way more complicated then mine and I failed. LOVE the flowers and your whole design. You rocked this!!

And I wanted to try Jennifer Rzasa's technique too. However, I knew I couldn't do that in a 10 minute challenge!!! This was one of the hardest things I had to do.

That aqua mist cardstock looks really pretty. I never would've known that it wasn't your first choice. In fact, I love that color scheme. Looks fabulous!

I admire you for doing that in under ten minutes. I can't do that. As soon as I get the timer set I get all stressed out trying to hurry. And I'm trying to relieve stress, not add to it! :) So I'm in awe.

This is drop dead gorgeous. I love all the colors, the layout, and everything. Even the smudge, which I couldn't find. If I had 10 hours, I could not have done this, and you did it in 10 minutes--just amazing.
