Inspired Blueprints #118

Today, I am sharing a layout that I made using Inspired Blueprints Sketch #118:

And here's my layout:

I stayed very close to the sketch, except that I modified the size of my photos somewhat.
I used some Crate Paper patterned paper & die cuts.
I also used a Crate Paper slide frame that I inked black.

The journaling card is really old.... I think it might be Little Yellow Bicycle.
And the enamel dots are My Mind's Eye.

For my title, I used my new Mama Elephant Inline Letter dies.

Merry & Bright (IB # 116)

Today, I am sharing a layout that I made using Inspired Blueprints Sketch #116
and some Reverse Confetti stamps & dies. 

I stuck very closely to the sketch, except that I flipped the journaling card and photo around.

I used some Pink Paislee patterned paper and chipboard words to create my layout.
The patterned paper had the design in the top and bottom corners, which worked perfectly (I thought!) for the sketch.



I added some Reverse Confetti stamps & dies to my layout.
I used the "and bright" sentiment from Bring On the Merry stamp set to complete my title.

I created my banner using the die from Tag Me, which I cut down a little along the top and the bottom.
I stamped one of the stripes from So Stripey over the banner.
Once it was dry, I heat embossed the "picture perfect" sentiment from Tinsel 'N Trim.

Inspired Blueprints Sketch #114

Today, I am sharing a layout that I made using Inspired Blueprints Sketch #114:

For my layout, I stayed fairly closely to the sketch.
However, instead of having seven 3x4 photos, I included one 3x4 photo and one 4x6.
For the extra slots, I used some Pink Paislee journaling cards & patterned paper.



Also, instead of tucking my journaling behind my photos at the top,
I typed it only a journaling card and included it in my row of journaling cards.

I stamped my evergreen boughs using PTI's Bells & Boughs stamp set, which I fussy cut out by hand.
The flowers are PTI stickers that I layered over top using some dimensional adhesive.
The little red Teresa Collins enamel dots finish it off.



I'm using this sketch and layout as the Pages With Papertrey Sketch #28.

Inspired Blueprints #112

Today, I am sharing a layout that I made using Inspired Blueprints Sketch #112:

And here's my layout:

For my layout, I used some goodies that came in a Close To My Heart kit that I purchased earlier this fall.
Pretty much all of the supplies came in this kit..... except for the buttons, twine & "Take Note" stamp (that's from PTI's On The Farm).

I stamped the woodgrain stamp repeatedly onto the beige card stock in Summer Sunrise.
Then I stamped my title.

I loved these sentiment stamps .... this was why I purchased the kit. ;)

The journaling pulls out from behind the photo at the top... I typed it out on my typewriter.

Inspired Blueprints Sketch #110

Today, I have two layouts to share that I made using both sides of one sheet of patterned paper.

The first one was made for Inspired Blueprints Sketch #110:

And here's my layout:

I used some Prima patterned paper and American Crafts wooden letters.

I also used some Papertrey Ink Antique Alphabet stamps ("of a"), buttons and twine.

Here's a close-up of my journaling:

When I was finished my layout, I looked on the back of the Prima patterned paper I used to mat my layout and felt like it would be a great place to expound on what I'd talked about. So, I added a second black & white photo that was taken at the same time as the one on the front and added some journaling.

In addition to my handwritten journaling, I added some more AC letters for my title and a stamped heart (from Reverse Confetti's Forever Fall set) and a button and twine (both PTI).

Sketch #108

Today, I have a layout to share that I made using Sketch #108 from Inspired Blueprints.

And here's my layout:

I used some Bazzill card stock and Basic Grey patterned paper.

For my title I used some PTI alphabet dies, paired with a sentiment from 

Reverse Confetti's Forever Fall stamp set, that I selectively inked to just stamp "pumpkin". 

I love it when I can use word stamps to created my titles!

I diecut a couple of PTI tags for my layout as well, and on one of them, 

I stamped the sweet polka dot pumpkin from Forever Fall.

My second tag pulls out to reveal my journaling, which I typed with my typewriter onto 

patterned paper.

I'm also using this layout, since it's November 1st, for the latest Pages With Papertrey Challenge, which is to include tags and twine on your layout.

"Suntime"

Welcome to my Friday post, where I share a project that I've designed for 

Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Today, I have a layout to share that I made using stamps from several different sets:
 Subway Series: Summer, You Said It, Sister & Breath of Fresh Flair
and Sketch #106 from Inspired Blueprints.

 

Here's my layout:

I decided to use some Echo Park patterned paper for my background, but wanted to add some stamping and inking to it. I stamped the polka dots from You Said It, Sister below my photo and then layered a title that I cut on my Silhouette over top, using dimensional adhesive.

 

To create a sunburst on my background, I used some post-it notes

and added some ink using a blending tool.

 

Using a masking technique, I stamped some of the words from the beach themed sentiment from Subway Series: Summer.

I stamped off the teal one a second time, slightly off from the first time,

to add a bit of a drop shadow.

 

To finish off my frame, I stamped the bird image from Breath of Fresh Flair and fussy cut out two of the birds.

I love this little detail, because the photos of Jonah and Sage perched on the back of the couch

remind me of birds perched on a wire.

And here's the layout I made with it:

I used a mix of patterned papers: the woodgrain is Teresa Collins (I bought like seven of these!), the floral is American Crafts Dear Lizzy and the text is Stampin' Up!

Here are some close ups....

The "real life" diecut is Teresa Collins.

And this bike is a Hero Arts stamp. I stamped it on a PTI diecut and added some PTI buttons.

I decided to include three tags on my layout and placed the third one behind this photo...

When you pull it out.... it reveals my journaling. I typed it on my typewriter on a piece of Dear Lizzy patterned paper -- I just love these jars!
