Cas(e) this Sketch #106

Hi there!
Today I have a card to share that I made using
CAS(E) This Sketch #106, which was designed by Chrissy Larson:

Here's my card...

I'd had plans to stamp along the side of my card with flowers, but
then I came across this fabulous piece of Heidi Swapp September Skies pattenred paper
and had to use it on my card.
I matted the patterned paper panel on some Bazzill Basics Twinkle Pink cardstock
and diecut my SSS happy die from it as well.
I diecut the happy die twice from Bazzill Basics Coconut Swirl cardstock and then layered one
under the Twinkle Pink cardstock and then next one on top,
but to the right and down from it to give a cool effect.
I heat embossed the sentiment (from PTI's Keep it Simple: Birthday) in white
and added a few 4mm & 6mm Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry Sequins to finish it off.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see the rest of the DT's takes on the sketch
and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Thursday, January 22nd to link up your card.

Fusion one year anniversary challenge

Hi there!
Just popping in today to share a card that I made for the latest Fusion Challenge:

I was totally inspired by that chalkboard, surrounded by gold and pink!
Here's my card:

I started by inking a piece of stamper's select white cardstock with some Delicata Golden Glitz ink.
From this, I diecut my frame (PTI's Sprinkles MIM kit).
I heat embossed the Wet Paint & Wet Paint II sentiments in white on true black cardstock
and added the Wet Paint & Wet Paint II diecuts.
I finished it off by adding some Wplus9 Fresh Cut Florals stamped on their coordinating diecuts.

Using Left-overs

Hi there!
I have a "love you" card to share today that I made using some Reverse Confetti goodies
as well as a few left-overs...

I had a bunch of white Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts left over from making this card
so I decided to make another card using some of them.

I adhered my hearts over some Crate Paper patterned paper.
The love was leftover from using the Heart Love Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts on this card.
I stamped the "you" from Beautiful Banners.
A few Pretty Pink Posh Pink Blush sequins finish it off.

Pretty Pink Posh 1st birthday celebration blog hop

Hi there!
Welcome to Day 2 of the three day Pretty Pink Posh 1st Birthday Celebration!
It’s basically a 3-day blog hop!
If you missed yesterday, you'll want to visit the Pretty Pink Posh blog to see what you missed,
and be sure to check back again tomorrow.

If you're following along with the hop, you should have arrived from Sandy Allnock's blog.
If not, I have the complete list posted further down in this post.

All right, onto my card, which made using one of Pretty Pink Posh's fabulous new dies.

I love how the new Stitched Duo 3 die looks like a window!
So, I chose some Crate Paper patterned paper that reminded me of wallpaper for my card base.
I diecut the Stitched Duo 3 from vintage cream cardstock and made a shaker card,

For my "view", I stamped the sunburst image from PTI's On the Farm stamp set.
I stamped my sentiment on the window ledge (PTI's Wet Paint) and added a SSS diecut word.

All right, that's it for me -- I hope you like it!

Next stop: Kathy Racoosin's blog.

Here's a complete list of the other participants in today’s blog hop.
Leigh Penner (that's me!)

There are lots of fun prizes and a special shopping discount code at the Pretty Pink Posh Blog, too. Leave comments at each blog hop stop for your chance to win!

It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing.
We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets & dies!

For my blog hop project, I decided to combine two of the new stamp sets:
Puppy LoveSugary Sweet Sentiments
with the fabulous new CAS(E) This Sketch #105 by Michelle Williams:

Here's my card:

When I saw the super cute "talk nerdy to me" sentiment in Sugary Sweet Sentiments
I thought it would be super fun to pair it with the adorable puppy from Puppy Love.
With his sweet little bowtie, he seems a little nerdy to me!
To add to the nerd-effect, I decided to give him some glasses, so I borrowed them from Oliver Owl.
And, for fun, I added some Glassy Accents to the lenses.

I diecut the graphic Echo Park patterned paper using the new Documented Confetti Cuts.

Countdown to Confetti: Love Blooms & Sugary Sweet Sentiments

Hey, 'Fetti Fans, welcome to Day 3 of the January Release for Reverse Confetti

This is such a fabulous release, with six new stamp sets and eight new Confetti Cuts!
There's truly something for everyone this release....

Today, we are introducing two more fabulous sets:
Love Blooms (with coordinating Confetti Cuts!) and Sugary Sweet Sentiments.

The card that I'm sharing today also features a new product that Reverse Confetti is releasing this month...

Aren't they lovely?
These Quick Card Panels are a limited edition.
You get eight different panels that are so perfectly designed for Valentine's Day.
And their size is fabulous -- they work so well on the front of a card, but would
also work to use in a pocket-type album.

Here's my card:

I stamped the sentiments (from Lots to Say & Puppy Love -- also being released this month)
in versa mark on my Quick Card Panel and heat embossed them in white before adhering it to my card front.
I diecut the Love Blooms Confetti Cuts and stamped them with the coordinating Love Blooms stamps before layering them over the flowers on the Quick Card Panel.

Next up, I have a couple of projects using the super fun new Sugary Sweet Sentiments -- a great stamp set which focuses on candy & sweet things!
Here's what I made....

Are these adorable?
I love that you can use these stamps to create sweet treats for others!
Here are some close-ups.

I used the new Square Tag that's being released this month to stamp
the sentiment from Sugary Sweet Sentiments in three different colours.
I made the treat bag using Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts and cut the front panel using
one of the Pretty Panels to create the window so you can see the jelly beans on the inside.

For my bottle of Coke, I used the Envie Wrap Confetti Cut with some Pink Paislee patterned paper,
which I extended a little with my paper trimmer to fit around the bottle.
I diecut the largest circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts from stamper's select white card-stock.
I diecut the largest heart from the new Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts from a sticky note,
which I layered over the diecut circle.
Using my Tim Holtz blending tool, I inked the outside of the circle with cranberry ink.
Then, I stamped the sentiment from Sugary Sweet Sentiments over top.
What a fun way to dress up a treat!

Countdown to Confetti: Right Here, Right Now & Here's the Story

Hey, 'Fetti Fans, welcome to Day 2 of the January Release for Reverse Confetti

This is such a fabulous release, with six new stamp sets and eight new Confetti Cuts!
There's truly something for everyone this release....

Today, we are introducing two new sets that I'm super excited about: -- they're
stamps and dies that can be used for scrapbooking or pocket scrapbooking:
Right Here, Right Now & Here's the Story
And, there's also a coordinating Confetti Cuts called Documented!

First up is a layout that I made usingRight Here, Right Now Here's the Story.
It features some photos that we took on our trip to Valley Fair this past summer.

These new stamps are so perfect for scrapbooking!
I used both Right Here, Right Now Here's the Story to make my title on a Tag Me Confetti Cuts tag.
An October Afternoon flair finishes it off.

I love the "so, here's the story" stamp from Here's the Story!
I used it here to introduce my journaling, which I typed on my typewriter.

And here's the rest of the journaling....

And stamped the "august" from Right Here, Right Now for my date.

And I also wanted to share a card that I made with these sets, so you could see that they
aren't limited to scrapbooking....

I stamped the fun circle images from Right Here, Right Now on my background.
The sentiment is from Here's the Story.
And that cool geotag die?
Well that's from Documented Confetti Cuts. Isn't it fabulous?

That's it for today!

Countdown to Confetti: Puppy Love & Heart to Heart

Hey, 'Fetti Fans, welcome to Day 1 of the January Release for Reverse Confetti

This is such a fabulous release, with six new stamp sets and eight new Confetti Cuts!
There's truly something for everyone this release....

Today, we are introducing two new sets:
an adorable new set called Puppy Love & a wonderfully fun "heart-themed" set called Heart to Heart.
And, they both come with coordinating Confetti Cuts!

First up, here are two cards that I made using Puppy Love.
I paired this set with two new Pretty Panels that are also being released this month
Straight Stripes & Big Chevrons.

Aren't these puppies adorable?
I diecut each of them using the Puppy Love Confetti Cuts, stamped, watercoloured and
layered them over two Pretty Panel: Straight Stripes Confetti Cuts
that I diecut from pure poppy and aqua mist card-stock.
I stamped the sentiment (also from Puppy Love) onto a strip of aqua mist cardstock and diecut the ends with the smaller tag from Tag Me and adhered it over the seam.

On my next card, I used the negative part from Pretty Panels: Big Chevron Confetti Cuts
to create a background for the puppy stamp/diecut.

I watercoloured the puppy once again.
The sentiment is also from Puppy Love and I diecut the end of it of my strip of card-stock
with the heart that's included in the Puppy Love Confetti Cuts.

Next up are two cards that I made using Heart to Heart.
And the first one uses another new product that's being introduced this month:

Aren't these cool?
These Quick Card Panels are a limited edition.
You get eight different panels that are so perfectly designed for Valentine's Day.
And their size is fabulous -- they work so well on the front of a card, but would
also work to use in a pocket-type album.

I used one of them on this card:

I adhered my panel to my card front and added a Double Edge Scallop Border along the bottom
and three Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts at the top, two of which I stamped using the coordinating Heart to Heart stamps.

On my next card, I had some fun diecutting my front panel using the Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts.

I stamped the "love" using one of the stamps from Heart to Heart.
A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finish it off.

And, lastly, I have one more card to share, using the third Pretty Panel Confetti Cut that's being released this month: Heart Love.

I started my inking my cardstock panel using sweet blush, hibiscus burst and raspberry fizz ink.
Then I diecut my Pretty Panel: Heart Love from it and removed it.
I diecut two more Pretty Panel: Heart Love diecuts from white cardstock, layered
them in the spot that the diecut was in and then adhered the inked diecut over top.
A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finish it off.
