Inspired By All the Little Things #80

Today, I have a card to share for
Inspired By All the Little Things #80:

I was inspired by the woodgrain background, the colours and the pretty peonies.
I decided to use my Wplus9 Modern Peonies stamp set to make my card,

Here's my card:

I stamped my flowers onto their coordinating diecuts in versamark and
heat embossed them in gold.
I coloured them in using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolours and layered them over a piece
of woodgrain patterned paper that I had in my stash.

I stamped my sentiment (also from Modern Peonies) on a strip of PTI aqua mist cardstock
in versamark and heat embossed it in gold.

Visit Inspired By All the Little Things to see the rest of the DT's takes
on the inspiration photo and to play along, if you'd like.

Countdown to Confetti: Cured

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 1 of the January Release for Reverse Confetti

This month's release is really fabulous!
In addition to four new stamp sets & ten new Confetti Cuts,
we're also releasing a new stencilnew patterned paper & four new colours of cardstock & ink!

Today, we're showcasing an adorable new set
with coordinating Confetti Cuts called Cured.

Here's my card:

I started by stamping the adorable pig and sentiment from Cured onto Cloud White Cardstock
in versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed them in clear.
I then repeatedly stamped the border from Cured along the bottom of my panel
and cut it out by hand.
I coloured everything in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
and a water brush.

I adhered my panel over a piece of the new True Love 6x6 pattern paper pad.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see the rest of the DT's takes on the sketch
and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Thursday, January 12th to link up your card.

Next, I have some exciting news!
I was asked to be a guest designer this week for the Fusion Card Challenge!
Here's this week's challenge:

I chose to use the sketch to make my card:

I layered a piece of Cloud White Cardstock over a piece of True Love 6x6 pattern paper
and stamped my sentiment from Cured onto it.
I diecut the pig using my Cured Confetti Cuts and stamped the image
in versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed it in clear.
I coloured it in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
and a water brush.

I hope you'll check out this week's Fusion Card Challenge --
I'd love to see what you create!

And I have one last card to share today...

Once again, I diecut the pig using my Cured Confetti Cuts, stamped the image
in versafine onyx black ink, heat embossed it in clear and coloured
it in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and a water brush.
I used another piece True Love 6x6 pattern paper and over it,
layered a new die called Tall Stripe Panel Confetti Cuts
which I diecut from Stone Cardstock.

For my sentiment, I used another new die called Love You More Tag Layer Confetti Cuts,
which I diecut from black cardstock.

That's it for today!

Fusion -- Joy

I was inspired by the photo with the lovely dark grey front door.

I stamped my wreath from PTI's Twig Wreath stamp set in dark chocolate
onto my Stormy Sea cardstock.
I heat embossed the sprigs (also from Twig Wreath) and sentiment
(from MFT's Hand Lettered Holiday) in white.

A trio of buttons and twine finishes it off.

Fusion {Port O' Call Polaroid}

Today, I have a card to share for Fusion {Port O' Call Polaroid}:

I was inspired by the photo to make a nautical card using PTI's Guiding Light
and Big Sky cover plate..

I started by diecutting the Big Sky cover plate from white cardstock.
I fussy cut some Basic Grey patterned paper for the water
and added the diecut sailboat (I cut along some waves with a craft knife
and tucked it in.)
I blended some ink onto my background and adhered the cover plate panel over top.

I stamped the birds and sentiment to finish it off (also from Guiding Light.)

Fusion -- Sweet Orange Blossoms

Today, I have a card to share for the Fusion --Sweet Orange Blossoms Challenge:

I love this sweet image, and while I don't have any hummingbird stamps
in my stash, I decided to create a similar looking bird with my PTI Spring Woods stamp set.

I stamped my bird in PTI aqua mist, green parakeet, orange zest and soft stone.
For my branches, I used Altenew moon rock, PTI green parakeet and new leaf, orange zest
and terracotta tile (I did the rock and roll technique, using my MISTI.)

I stamped the sentiment (from PTI Winter Woods) in moon rock.
I ran a piece of aqua mist cardstock through my diecutting machine with my
woodgrain impression plate and adhered it behind my white panel.

I'm also linking this card up to play along with
Anna Kossakovskaya's CASometry Challenge 2. Make 5.

Fusion {April Showers}

Today, I have a card to share for the Fusion {April Showers}:

I was inspire by both the photo and the sketch to make my card,
pairing the adorable alligator from Reverse Confetti's Later Alligator & Weather It Together.

I stamped the umbrella from Weather It Together and then masked off the handle
to stamp the alligator.
I actually started stamping this card at the Sunday School Card Club and demonstrated
masking to them -- their reactions were so fun to the "magic" of masking!
I coloured these in with my Zig markers and a paintbrush and water.

I scored my diagonal lines and then masked off the area with post-it notes
and blended Hawaiian shores ink onto my card front.
I added some more colour to my background using a grey Zig marker and water.
I diecut my clouds using the Weather It Together Confetti Cuts
and stamped my sentiment over my ink blending.

the tops off, using the bottom of the bottle.
I inked them up using PTI's Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal inks and my blending tool.
I stamped my Fall Florals diecuts in Altenew Cotton Candy and Coral Berry inks.
I layered these over a PTI scalloped frame.

I stamped the sentiment (from PTI's KIS: Sympathy) in Altenew's Evening Gray ink.

Make It Monday #239 & Fusion {Pretty in Pink}

Today, I have a card to share that I made for the current Fusion Challenge {Pretty in Pink}:

I was inspired by the beautiful pillows in the photo to make my card.

I started by stamping with a PTI Brushed Off stamp set onto a piece of My Mind's Eye

I stamped the leaves from PTI's Songbirds onto their coordinating diecuts
and the flowers from the freebie set that PTI sent out in December.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp's Big Scripty Sentiments.

Fusion Card Challenge {Woodgrain Neutral}

Today, I have a card to share that I made for the current

I was inspired by both the photo and the sketch to make my card.
To do so, I used some Reverse Confetti products.

I started by creating a wreath using the  Leafy Confetti Cuts, which I diecut from kraft cardstock
and splattered with watered-down white acrylic paint.
The polka dotted flowers in the inspirational photo reminded me of the Petals 'n Posies
blooms, so I diecut those with their coordinating Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts
and stamped them with some dusk and desert night inks.

I stamped the sentiment (from God is Good) with the same inks,
inking up the stamp with the darker ink at the bottom and
the lighter one on top to create an ombre effect.
