Lots to catch up on the past week. Here are few highlights, if they can be called that. ;)
1. Last weekend, Austin & I competed in the Prairie Fire Tae kwon do Challenge in Yorkton. I was so proud of how Austin did: he won a bronze medal in patterns and really held his own in the sparring-- even his coach commented on his improvement since the June tournament.
I won a silver medal in patterns & a bronze in the sparring. It was a good weekend. The kids loved spending the night at a hotel and swimming both there, and at the aquatic centre after we were done competing. We got home late (after midnight, and a few wrong turns *rolleyes*) but it was definitely worth it.
2. I've been averaging working 3 days a week, mostly subbing at our high school. I'm liking it, which is good. It feels harder to get my stuff done at home, and I'm not scrapping as much as I'd like, but it's okay.
3. Here are a few sneak peeks from the MSS November kits, which will go on sale tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!
