MIM #48 -- attempt #1


This week's Make it Monday at Papertrey Ink is creating backgrounds with border dies. Since my new favourite PTI product is the Fillagree border die, I just knew I had to play along.

I used PTI cardstock (pure poppy, rustic white), stamps (happy day, communique sentiments), button and dies (happy day, fillagree border.) I die cut some Echo Park patterned paper with the border die cut and added some baker's twine from my LSS.

Leigh--so pretty. I love how you have used patterned paper for the filligree die. Red and Aqua mist is one of my favorite color combos. Since you titled this #1, I'll be on the lookout for the rest.

Really pretty. Why is it that I always forget I don't have to use soild color cardstock to cut my dies with! Love the colors and the stitching.

The colors are SO pretty Leigh! Great job with the technique. I love the filigree border used on the patterned paper.

This is really nice with the aqua patterned paper. I really need to get this die!!! I see everyone doing so many beautiful things with it.
