PTI January Blog Hop

Once again, I've decided to play along with the Papertrey Ink blog hop and this month the challenge is to choose a favourite project that I made in 2011 and then use that as inspiration to create another project.

I decided to choose the card I made for the October Blog Hop, orginally posted here:

I love the fall feel of this card and wondered if I could create something with a similar design, but using a different season...

Here's what I came up with:

I used PTI cardstock (stamper's select white, raspberry fizz), stamps (rosie posie, botanical silhouettes), impression plate (woodgrain) & dies (picket fence). The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye (blue polka dots, text) & Crate Paper (green).

Thanks for looking!

Leigh, I love both of them :) Love the stitching, the text, the woodgrain on the fence, and these rosie posey flowers are sorta reminding me of cabbages (we get some gorgeous purple ones planted around here and these remind me of them).
