Hi there! Today is Sage's birthday party, which means that we're
hosting five of her friends and getting crafty. ;)
I'm hoping to post photos of her party here in the next day or so....
In the meantime, I wanted to share a Halloween card using some fabulous
Chickaniddy Crafts Scrumptious patterned paper and die cuts...
Supplies: Scrumptious 12x12 patterned paper (SC14OS02, SC14OS08, SC14OS12), Die Cut Tags (SC14EB04)
I started with some Pumpkin Spice patterned paper as my background -- I just love these stripes!
I fussy cut the pumpkins from the Corn on the Cob patterned paper and adhered them to my card,
along with a super fun slide frame die cut.
I die cut the "happy" from the back of the Friends and Family patterned paper and
added the "Halloween Night" strip from the Home Sweet Home patterned paper.
I had some fun layering on my card, having some elements in front of and in back of other ones.
My pumpkins are sitting behind the frame, but the stem of the taller one is in front of the frame.
The "h" from my die cut word is in front of the "Halloween Night" strip, but
the two "p"s are behind the strip.
It adds to the visual interest on my card.
Thanks for looking!

This is a great layered card, Leigh, without being too overpowering.
So pretty! I love those pumpkins and the bit of blue from the frame.
Super cute card.
My kind of Halloween card--love it, Leigh!
Yes, I like how the framed pumpkins seem to come out of the frame. Really cute card, even though I don't want to be thinking haloween already:)
Gorgeous card!! LOVE the Fall colors! ;)
Pumpkins, frames, fall colours - ingredients for a most delightful card, indeed!
