Muse Challenge #131

Today, I have a card to share that I made using some Reverse Confetti products
for the Muse Challenge #131, where we were challenged to use my friend,
Carol Mayne's gorgeous card as inspiration:

I love her feathers and how she stamped each one with two colours.
I decided to created my card using the gorgeous feather from Peacock Pretties
and I took my colour inspiration from one of the bracelets Sage made
in my previous post: aqua, yellow and silver.

Here's my card:

Muse Challenge 131 Leigh Penner @leigh148 @reverseconfetti #reverseconfetti #cards

I stamped the Peacock Pretties feather in versamark and heat embossed it
in Zing! Powder and Butter, as well as in silver.
I stamped the sentiment from God is Good in versafine onyx black.

I just love the shine of the silver embossed feathers!

Thanks for looking!

Leigh, I just love your blog. I stamped with my daughters too and love that you share the photos with your darling girl.
This card so gorgeous! I've never really liked multi-color embossing but you rocked the technique with these beautiful colors. I'm inspired to give it another try. Your card is stunning!

The sentiment, the peacock feathers beautifully composed in silver, power and butter has me full on swooning! I'm thrilled that you drew inspiration from my card, then worked your magic to create a stunning creation of your own! Love this, my friend!

Love your interpretation of the Muse card; Heat embossing - never would have occurred to me to have used as a technique to get multi coloured feathers. The effect is beautiful. I guess that I'll need to invest in different colours of embossing powder now!
