2016 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop & MFT Wednesday Sketch 310

Well, I had a very productive weekend -- Christmas-wise.
I got the last of my shopping done.
I wrapped most of my presents (just waiting for one more to arrive in the mail)
-- and got all of my tags made (I'll be sharing these later this week!) --
and packaged up the presents to send to my brother and his family in Montreal.
I also packaged up my gift for a crafty secret Santa exchange...
We did a little Chrstiams baking.
And I got a few cards made, too!

The card that I'm sharing today is for two challenges....

Here's my card:

I started by stamping by background using MFT's Snowflake Flurry in
Altenew Mountain Mist.
I diecut my tag and stamped in in Altenew Espresso using MFT's Hand Lettered Holiday.
I diecut my border using my new Neat & Tangled scalloped frames.

I diecut my mug using MFT's Winter Warmth dies and stamped it in black.
I stamped the "coffee" in versamark and heat embossed it in Zing! brown
embossing powder.
I heat embossed the snowflake (from Snowflake Flurry) in white.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Today, I'm playing along with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
I decided to create my card using my Just Brew It stamp set by Reverse Confetti.

I started by diecutting a Lacy Scallop Frames Confetti Cuts from vintage cream cardstock
and layering it over a piece of Prima "coffee themed" patterned paper.
This paper was all pink, so I blended some Tangerine ink to the bottom half of it.

I stamped some Rose Garden sprigs onto their coordinating Rose Garden Confetti Cuts,
as well as some Blooms 'n Buds leaves onto their coordinating Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts.
Over these, I adhered my Just Brew It Confetti Cuts that I stamped with this fun
Just Brew It stamp in Tangerine ink.

Confession time: I actually don't drink coffee -- gasp!
I know.... and in fact, when the Just Brew It stamp set was released,
I had to Google PSL to see what it meant!
However, I do enjoy making coffee-themed cards,
so I hope it's okay that I play along with the blog hop. ;)
