Countdown to Confetti: Hippity Hoppity

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 2 of the February Release for Reverse Confetti

That's right!
Reverse Confetti is doing monthly releases now, starting with Countdown to Confetti posts
on the 5th of each month and the release blog hop on the 8th.

This month is a fantastic release,
with four new stamps sets & seven new Confetti Cuts!

Today, we are introducing an adorable new set
with coordinating Confetti Cuts called Hippity Hoppity.

I started by applying some watercolour to my background
and stamping the sentiment from Hippity Hoppity.
I diecut the basket, using the new Basket Confetti Cuts, from some kraft cardstock
and added some classic kraft ink to the top layer to create a little more dimension.

I stamped the two adorable bunnies from Hippity Hoppity onto their coordinating Confetti Cuts,
coloured them in using Zig Markers and slipped them into the basket.
I also diecut the egg from the Hippity Hoppity Confetti Cuts, smooshed it with some ink
and added it to the basket.

For my next card, I used a couple of this month's new Quick Card Panels.

I love this sentiment from Friends Like You and decided to add two little female bunnies
from Hippity Hoppity to my card.
However, I didn't like that they wouldn't be looking at each other if I did this,
so I did a little masking with the male bunny and used his head, but with the female body.
I used a paper-piecing technique and coloured them in with Zig Markers.
It worked out great!

I diecut my green text Quick Card Panel, using one of the new Edgers Confetti Cuts.
I love how this set of dies offers so many different options!
Some Solid Honeydew Twine finishes it off.

And for my last project today, I made a treat bag using the fabulous
In the Bag Confetti Cuts & Clear Totes that were released last month.

I filled my Clear Tote with some Cadbury Mini Eggs.
I used the In the Bag Confetti Cuts to diecut some white cardstock,
which I stamped repeatedly with three sentiments from Hippity Hoppity.

I diecut a new Quick Card Panel using the tag die from  In the Bag Confetti Cuts
and attached it to the treat bag using some Solid Caribbean Twine.

I stamped the bunny and basket from Hippity Hoppity onto their coordinating Confetti Cuts
and coloured them in with some ink pressed onto an acrylic block, some water and a paintbrush.

That's it for today!

There will be a $15 gift certificate up for grabs, so you make sure you leave a comment
