SFYTT #11

Today I have a card to share for the Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try #11: 

Now, before I show you my card, I wanted to show you my inspiration for it first.

I had been browsing at The Scrapbook Cottage (a fabulous scrapbooking store in Winnipeg)

a few weeks ago and fell in love with one of the October Afternoon Flair images.

It's the "love this" one on the bottom left, with the arrow.

I was very taken with it and wondered how I could recreate its look on a card.

Here's what I came up with:

 I die cut two rounded rectangles from the Confetti Cuts: Class Act -- 

one white and one simply chartreuse.

I masked off the "Love you more" sentiment from  Crushin' 

and stamped the "love" in simply chartreuse on the white die cut and 

the "you more" in versa mark on the simply chartreuse die cut and heat embossed it in white. 

I cut the white die cut below the sentiment and layered it over the green one.

I die cut the Arrow from black card stock, trimmed off the centre feathers and 

adhered it over the seam.

I also used one of the arrows from the Crushin' stamp set to stamp the background.

I was pretty pleased with how it turned out!
