Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Flamingo -- Take Two

I have another card to share that I made using the current

I was really inspired by that adorable phone case displayed in the lower right-hand corner
and decided to recreate it for a journaling tag for my summer pocket album.

So I pulled out my Reverse Confetti Fabulous Flamingo

Peacock Pretties and combined them to make my journaling card.

I started by diecutting some Bazzill cardstock with my Documented Confetti Cuts
journaling card die.
Then, I stamped the legs (using Fabulous Flamingo) onto the pink diecut in white.
Once that was dry, using my MISTI, I stamped it again in pink overtop.

I really liked the plumage in the inspiration photo, so I decided to try to copy
it by first diecutting my flaming and wing using Fabulous Flamingo Confetti Cuts.
Then, I diecut two paisley shapes using Perfectly Paisley Confetti Cuts
to adhere over top.
I stamped my sentiment using Peacock Pretties in versamark and heat
embossed it in white.

Remember, there's still time to play along with this
 Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.

Thanks for looking!

What a cool, bold take on the flamingo. I like that the body is not stamped!

What an adorable pocket page journaling card, Leigh! Love the bright colors, and your flamingo just makes me smile. I love how you did the wing. And such a fabulous sentiment, too!

Leigh, this is fantastic! So smart to stamp the pink on white and the way you altered the wing is my favorite!!

I love what you've done with the wings. And happily I have all of those supplies so I've filed this away for inspiration the next time I'm doing flamingos!!
