Today, I have a card to share for
Inspired By All the Little Things #52:
When I saw this image, I knew immediately that I would
use my MFT stamp set to create my card:
I started by stamping the girl from my MFT set onto my watercolour
paper background and heat embossing it in clear.
Then, I did some masking and stamped the buildings from PTI's City Scene
stamp set, in Altenew Evening Grey and Morning Frost.
However, I forgot to put my mask back after it got stuck to my stamp,
using my MISTI and accidentally stamped the building onto my girl's face.
(Please, someone tell me that I'm not the only one to mess up masking like that!)
Not wanting to start over, I decided to restamp the girl and diecut her out.
I coloured her in with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers and a water brush.
I adhered her to my card using dimensional adhesive.
I stamped my sentiment using my new stamp set from Right At Home --
I just love this sentiment and thought it suited this confident girl perfectly!
Visit Inspired By All the Little Things to see the rest of the DT's takes
on the inspiration photo and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Friday, April 21st to link up your card.
Thanks for looking!

Leigh, think the gal looks more confident "popped" up anyway. Guess this explains why I seldom do masking even though I love when others do it. Sweet card with perfect sentiment!
This is STUNNING!!! Love the image and the fun way you used the city in the background!!
What a great take on the inspiration photo! Love the sentiment on this too!
What a gorgeous card! I agree that the image and the sentiment go together very well, but I would to know when they came from?? Any chance you could send me a link to them? iamhis_55@att.net Hugs
This is so sweet. I like how the girl is the only pop of color on the mostly gray card.
This is an adorable card Leigh!! Happy Easter!!
Absolutely LOVE this! Wonderful verse and wonderful design with the cityscape in the background! I love the neutral color palette with just that small pop of pink. And I think she looks fabulous die cut and popped up on the front!
This is such a sweet little scene, Leigh.
This card is so adorable and the sentiment is so powerful. Love it Leigh!
Such a gorgeous card, Leigh - I love the neutral background, really makes her stand out :o)
I am constantly ruining my cards with wonky masking. You're not the only one, and you made an excellent save on this one! It's amazing!
Wonderful take on the inspiration! Love the sweet scene you created!
Stunning Leigh! Perfect take on the picture!
This is such a perfect take on the photo! Love this adorable city scene!
What a great save! I do things like that all the time! I made a card a really liked and couldn't photograph it for a while. By the time I got around to it, I found it on the floor with a big hole in it...complete with dirt marks...my dog had stepped on it! Your card is so sweet, by the way.
