Spontaneous
I made a layout this afternoon, using this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink: creating large frames with smaller frame stamps. I used the technique on the large journaling label, which I extended to make it taller. I has planned on hiding the seam with a button, but when I saw that it was hardly noticeable, I decided not to bother.
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock (stamper's select white), stamps (label basics, modern wood mats, grunge me & journaling lines) & dies (uppercase block alphabet). The 12x12 cardstock is American Crafts & Bazzill, the patterned paper is Echo Park (rey on rey stripe, yellow), My Mind's Eye (blue herringbone) & Fancy Pants (title).
Here's a close up of the journaling:
Thanks for looking!

Love the colors and how you used Grunge Me in different spots (it adds so much!). I've been thinking about that set for a long time, and I might just have to buy it after seeing your use of it today.
Your layouts are always fabulous. You are inspiring me to do a layout CASE. I have to see if my DD will let me take some nice pics. Also, I'd love to know which grey ink you used in the layout. TFS!
Great layout, Leigh!
awesome layout. Love the clean it is.
What a fun LO! The colors are great as is all your stamping :) You are making me want the Label Basics set!
Great LO, Leigh! I love the cool colors that you used. And that Grunge Me image is perfect for mist-like splatters, without the mess :)
Hey Leigh, I just had to pin this to my scrapbook inspiration board on Pinterest!!! Love this layout.
