Fusion Card Challenge: Blue Skies & Smooth Sailing

Today, I have a card to share for the

I was totally inspired by the photo to make my card:

Fusion Card Challenge: Blue Skies & Smooth Sailing Leigh Penner @leigh148 #cards

See what I mean?
I used some American Crafts patterned paper for the background.
Can you believe I don't own an anchor stamp or die?
Crazy, I know!
So I cut the anchor from a piece of enchanted evening cardstock
with my Silhouette and then ran the cardstock through my diecutting machine
with my woodgrain impression plate that I inked up using some Wplus9 white ink.
Then I cut it up the same as the inspiration photo.

Fusion Card Challenge: Blue Skies & Smooth Sailing Leigh Penner @leigh148 #cards

I diecut a piece of rustic white cardstock using my PTI double-ended banner die
and stamped in it twice with my PTI KIS: Father's Day stamp,
once in enchanted evening and then a second time in aqua mist, off set a bit.

Thanks for looking!

My goodness, what a great Father's Day card! The photo sure was an inspiration for it! I don't have an anchor stamp or die either, they sure are great shapes. Love the colors too.
