Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Sorbet & CAS(E) This Sketch #226

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

www.flickr.com

The LEAD of the Sorbet Challenge will be invited as a
Guest Designer in a future challenge!
Please visit the Curtain Call Challenge Blog for all the challenge info and deadline.

I was a little stuck on this challenge, until I spotted this card by Betsy Veldman:

so I'm also playing along with Papertrey Ink's Create Along With Us

I started by making a rectangle mask with post-it notes on my watercolour paper
base and then smooshing hawaiian shores ink mixed with water onto my panel.
I dried it with my heat gun and diecut it using my Mama Elephant Femme Frames die.

I diecut the popsicles from PTI's Summer Sweetness and stamped them
with Wplus9's Sweet Gelato ink -- so perfect for the challenge -- after spritzing my inked
stamp with water before stamping.
I stamped my sentiment from Summer Sweetness in Altenew Jet Black and
Wplus9's Sweet Gelato ink.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see the rest of the DT's takes on the sketch
and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Thursday, June 22nd to link up your card.

Make sure you visit each of the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge
 designers' blogs for more inspiration!
Thanks for looking!

Leigh, your popsicles are so realistic looking, like they're just starting to melt a little bit on a hot, summer day. Pretty colors on your card.

Your popsicle card was so inspiring. I made one with the sunny studio stamps, but it was so similar to yours I had to make a different one's for the challenge. Totally loved yours.
