Ink It Up with Heidi Shafer -- Papertrey Ink's Bitty Ballerina

Today, I've joined again with
Heidi Shafer of Mapleberry Musings for Ink It Up.

Ink it Up is a challenge where, on the second and fourth Wednesday
of each month, Heidi and I share cards that we've made with new stamp sets
that we haven't used yet.

Today, I'm sharing a card that I made using my

I started by diecutting my ballerina using its coordinating die and stamping
it in versafine onyx black ink and heat embossing it in clear.
Then, I coloured it in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
and a water brush.
I stamped the sentiments from the Ballerina Beauty stamp set.

I stencilled the background using a PTI stencil and two shades of pink ink.

A friend of mine requested this card for her grand-daughter and wanted
her name stamped on it, so I added that using my Mama Elephant Script stamp set.

Don't forget to hop over to Heidi's blog to see what
she created for this Ink It Up.

Thanks for looking!

I just love this, Leigh! So sweet and fun! Love that little ballerina and love her soft coloring. She looks like she's twirling against some fancy wall paper. LOVE it!

Such a perfect little girl birthday card, Leigh. I have this set and just used it for one of my little granddaughters cards. I love how you've watercolored her, and the pretty pink background you've created. Delightful card! Just love it!! Bev
