Coundown to Confetti: Fancy Words

Hey, 'Fetti Fans!
Welcome to Day 3 of the special April Release for Reverse Confetti

This is such a fabulous release, with five new stamp sets and eight new Confetti Cuts!
Lots of sweet goodness coming this month!

Today, we are introducing a new set of Confetti Cuts that comes with a coordinating
stamp set: Fancy Words

These dies are so fabulous -- I just love the font!
Here are the cards I made with Fancy Words.

First of all, I decided to use some of the left over My Mind's Eye striped glittery paper
that I used on my card yesterday to make two cards.

I trimmed a piece of the patterned paper to 4.25x5.5 to mat my card.
Using the new Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cuts, I diecut the large frame from the patterned paper.
I also repeatedly diecut the "xoxo" Fancy Words Confetti Cut from the sparkly patterned paper
and stamped my sentiment (using the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set.)

I couldn't resist making another card with this patterned paper!
This time, I used a whole panel, from which I diecut the "birthdayFancy Words Confetti Cut,
to give it a camouflage effect.

I stamped the "happy" from The Buzz several times, without inking in between
for the generational inking technique.

Then I repeated this technique with the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set.

Next, I made a card using another new Confetti Cut that's being released this month: Geometric Background.

I ran my Geometric Background Confetti Cut through my diecutting machine like I would
an impression plate, so I just impressed the cardstock with it.
Then, I using the smooshing technique, I inked up my panel in aqua mist, sweet blush and hibiscus burst.
Once it was dry, I diecut the tag from Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts from the impressed, watercolored
panel, as well as the "thanksFancy Words Confetti Cut.
I added a little more smooshing to my background, as well as to a piece of cardstock that I trimmed
and then diecut the end of using the new Layered Banner Duo.
When it was dry, I stamped the sentiment (from Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set.)

A few buttons and twine finish it off.

And lastly, I have a couple of baby cards to share.

I love, love, love this new border stamp that's included in the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set!
I used it to stamp my background in sweet blush, summer sunrise and berry sorbet inks.
I created my banner the same way as I did on my previous card,
using the Layered Banner Duo to diecut the end.
I stamped the sentiment from Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set in versa mark
and heat embossed it in white.

I diecut the "babyFancy Words Confetti Cut from sweet blush cardstock
and added few enamel dots to finish it off.
I was so happy with how this card turned out that I created another one --
this time, a boy version.

This time, I used aqua mist, summer sunrise and enchanted evening for my stripes.

I'm linking this last card up to the current

I am so in love with all the gold glitter on the first two cards! STUNNING, and the little details on the second one, with stamping the "happy" and "celebrate" in multiple generations was pure genius. I sweet colors of the thank you card are beautiful, and I LOVE the way you embossed the tag with the die... it adds so much dimension! And the two baby cards are soooo cute, I love the way you kept everything at an angle! Amazing cards Leigh!!!
