Countdown to Confetti: Shine from Within & Color Me Happy

Hey, 'Fetti Fans!
Welcome to Day 2 of the special April Release for Reverse Confetti

This is such a fabulous release, with five new stamp sets and eight new Confetti Cuts!
Lots of sweet goodness coming this month!

Today, we are introducing two new sets with coordinating Confetti Cuts:
a bold & fun sentiment set called Shine from Within & a gorgeous watercolour set called Color Me Happy.

First up, I'm sharing the cards that I made using Shine from Within.

I loved the sentiment in Shine from Within that says:
"When it rains, look for rainbows. When it's dark, look for stars."
To highlight this stamp, I decided to create a card that uses both rainbows and stars.

I repeatedly stamped one of the star border stamps from So Many Stars onto
my white linen cardstock panel using six different colours.
Then, I stamped my sentiment over top.

For my next card, I decided to add a little sparkle.

I was looking for the perfect piece of patterned paper in my stash to use with this sentiment,
and I found it in this piece of My Mind's Eye patterned paper.
It had wide gold stripes, so I diecut it using the new Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cuts.
I love how these dies include some fun shaker card elements as well -- like the stars I added.
I stamped the sentiment (from Shine from Within) and the stars (from So Many Stars)
in versamark and heat embossed them in white.

Here's a close up of the glittered frame -- it's so pretty and sparkly!

And here are the cards that I made using Color Me Happy.

I had fun stamping my white linen cardstock with the fun watercolour stamps from Color Me Happy.

Then, I diecut the "hello" (using the new Hello Confetti Cut that's being released this month)
from the panel and replaced it with another hello that was diecut from another piece of white linen cardstock.
A few enamel dots finish it off.

And what did I do with the "hello" diecut that I cut from the stamped panel?
Why I used it on another card, of course!

The Hello Confetti Cut matches perfectly with the hello stamp that's in Color Me Happy.
So, I stamped the hello three times on my white linen cardstock panel and then
layered the hello diecut overtop (along with two other diecuts that I diecut from the
first two panels that I tried inking to make my card.
I love reclaiming elements from my cards that didn't turn out perfectly!

I adhered the diecuts so that the stamped hellos look like a drop shadow from the diecuts.

And lastly, I have a card that I made using a Piña Colada Quick Cut Panel.

I stamped the sentiment from Color Me Happy in three different colours of ink
and then added three coordinating buttons with twine to finish it off.
