Reverse Confetti April Release Blog Hop

Hey there, 'Fetti Fans!
Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April New Release Blog Hop!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and
you should have made it here from the incredibly talented Amy Sheffer's blog
It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing.
We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all of the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets & dies!

For my blog hop project, I decided to pair two of the new stamp sets:
Pineapples Aplenty & Color Me Happy on a layout.

Now, as soon as I saw the new Pineapples Aplenty stamp set,
I thought of the TV show Psych that we watched over the winter on Netflix.
In each episode of the show, there's a pineapple -- either a real pineapple,
a reference to a pineapple (a pineapple smoothie, for example) or a pineapple on something (like a quilt).

So, I thought it would be fun to create a layout about how we got Netflix
last summer and have enjoyed watching shows together on it: Doctor Who,
Sherlock, Psych, Lie to Me, etc.
And of course, I included a pineapple on my layout.

I layered some Crate Paper patterned paper over some Bazzill Basics yardstick.

I diecut the journaling card using the rectangle die from Documented Confetti Cuts.
I stamped the pineapple using Pineapples Aplenty and added a trio of buttons with twine.

I stamped the "hello" from Color Me Happy as part of my title.
I cut out the "togetherness" from some Crate Paper patterned paper on my Silhouette.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today!
Be sure and join us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!

Now it’s time to hop on over to the wonderfully talented Amber Hight's blog
If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and
list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
The April Sketch For You To Try is open for you to play along.

Netflix is the best invention EVER! I cannot tell you how many shows my daughter and I have watched together on it. I am addicted! LOVE your fun page! I absolutely adore the block of the photo and journaling, and the big title work on the side. The pineapple card makes me smile, too. You know... we watched Psych, and I have to admit I didn't notice the pineapple thing. Maybe I need to re-watch! ;)
