Five for Friday

I cannot believe it is the end of July already!
This month has totally flown by...

1. Last Friday night, I took the kids to our local drive-in, where
we watched Avengers Age of Ultron.

2. It was a bit of a "Marvel weekend", because on Saturday, we drove to Winnipeg
to see Marvel Universe Live!, which was very entertaining,

We also did a little shopping and went to a Lego Builder event at one of the malls.

3. Last night, our church rented the pool in Manitou.
It was a little cool and quite windy, so only Jonah was brave enough to go in the pool.

4. Tonight, we get to go and pick up Sage from camp!
I can't wait to see my best girl and to hear all about her week!

5. I have a card to share for this week's

Five for Friday Leigh Penner @leigh148 #cards

I had so much fun making my cow card yesterday, that I decided to add some texture
to a stamped cow from Papertrey Ink's On the Farm.

I diecut some white cardstock using the Tag Sale 7 dies and stamped the background
from on the farm.
I used the dots stamp from Simon Says Stamp's Congratulations stamp set
to add some kissed texture to my cow.

Five for Friday Leigh Penner @leigh148 #cards

I layered it all on some American Crafts patterned paper
& stamped the sentiment from On The Farm.

I'm also linking this up to this week's

Thanks for looking!

Talk about inspiration... that cow is darling! And so is it's presentation. Love how you 'framed' him.

I swear your children have grown a foot each over the course of this summer! What a beautiful family you have, Leigh. And I very much enjoyed seeing your card. Those greens and yellow and brown have such a summery feel. Love how the image is tucked into that little frame, too. Wonderful post, wonderful card. Bev
