Guest Blogger

Hi there, Sage here.
I'm guest blogging for my mom today.

(This is a photo that my mom took after the Christmas pageant at church on Sunday evening.
I was the narrator for the Christmas story.)

I have a paper route for the Winnipeg Free Press.
I deliver to 12 houses every morning before school
& 13 on Saturdays.

I wanted to make some little cards for the people I deliver to.

my reindeer, Santa and sentiment.
Using my MISTI made this quick and easy for 13 cards!

Colouring them in with my mom's Zig markers took longer though...

I was going to leave Santa's face and legs white, but my mom
thought he looked like a ghost with no pants on!
So, I coloured them in.

My class had a Secret Santa gift exchange yesterday.
My mom and I made some butter crunch and I wrapped it up with this tag
to give to the boy that I had.

I made my tag using Reverse Confetti's Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts
and used the Reverse Confetti Jolly Holiday stamp set again to decorate my tag.
I slipped a $5 bill into the tag for part of my gift.

And, finally, I have a card that I made for my friend's birthday party yesterday.

I stamped the images from Pretty Pink Posh's Holiday Pals onto watercolour paper
and coloured them using my mom's Zigs and her water brush.

The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's With Love.

See ya next time!

Sage, congratulations on your key role as the narrator of the Christmas story; I know you did an exceptional job. Your photo: gorgeous! How sweet to make cards for your newspaper customers (I'm impressed that you have this job...way to go!); I'll be they adored your thoughtfulness as much as I do...which is a LOT! I just bought a Misti and I agree: what a handy tool (wish I could invent something that everyone in the crafting world would love. Any ideas?). Your Santa exchange tag: super sweet, and a wonderful 'extra' gift to go with the buttercrunch. The card for your friend...oh my! Adorable! Overall, Sage, you are one talented designer! You've got an eye and a talent for colour! Thank you for being such a fabulous guest; looking forward to your next showcase!
