I have two cards to share today...
The first one is the card that I made for the
I flipped the sketch around to create my card:
I diecut some Pink Paisley patterned paper with my PTI Journaling Card 1 die.
I stamped my sentiment (from Hand-Lettered Holiday) onto black cardstock and heat
embossed it in white.
I diecut two cups using my Winter Warmth dies, inked them a little and stamped
them with the coordinating Winter Warmth stamps.
As a finishing touch, I added a Snowflake Flurry snowflake stamped on a coordinating diecut.
And the second card I'm sharing today is for this week's
Now, I do love the look of this, but it makes me very nervous to attempt this technique
on my card!
Why does it work so much better on scrap paper than on my actual card?
I was inspired by Sage's pyjamas to make this card.
I'd been folding laundry and she has a jammie top in these colours.
Who would have though I could be inspired while doing chores? ;)
I stamped the branches from PTI's Winter Woods and heat embossed them in white.
I added the sweet little chickadee on his coordinating diecut
and added the sentiment from Phrases & Praises.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful cards! Love the pretty colors!
Love these both!!
Darling!!! Images sentiments and colour 😍
These are both beautiful Leigh!! Love the little houses behind those cute mugs! Funny where we find out inspiration huh!!
Two amazingly gorgeous cards!
Such pretty cards Leigh! I especially love the mugs and sweet bird!
Pretty cards and nice color combinations! Often when shopping I'll see something and think "that looks like Aqua Mist"....
Super cards! I especially love your "His eye is on the sparrow" card! Combining that sentiment with that stamp set is perfect! The subtle splatters add just the right touch.
I love how you got your inspiration! I once was inspired by a kleenex box;) Always have your phone camera ready at Target! Beautiful cards, Leigh!
Loving both of your cards Leigh! The DSP in your first card is so great and fits perfectly with the mugs and snowflakes! And I love your 2nd card too...those branches embossed white against the blue cs are just perfect, and then with the cute little sparrow...pure perfection! Including the splatters!! :0)
Both gorgeous, Leigh .... LOve that patterned paper - you know I cannot resist a nice neighborhood!
=]
Beautiful cards, Leigh! I really love the color combo of both, and they are such sweet designs. Loving the snowy village and the warm cups of cocoa, with the little snowflake tucked behind. The black sentiment strip really pops. And your bird on the snowy branch is fabulous, too. Such soft and serene scenes... both of them!
Oooohh how pretty, Leigh! The more I see this stamp set the faster it moves up on the Wish List :-)
Wonderful cards! I love the paper you used on the first one and that sentiment on the second!
Everything about your first card - from the snowy village to the pretty cups - is warm and inviting! I'd love to sit in a neighbourhood cafe, enjoying coffee with a friend (want to join me?) watching the people...Your second card is soooo pretty! Inspiration from Sage's pjs? Toooo cool (and how pretty they must be, as well)!
Hugs`c
Very pretty cards, Leigh!
Love the cozyness of the first one and coldness of the second!
Love your patterned paper and the usage of it on your first card!! I am trying so hard to use more of my *few* patterned paper pads ("few", as if! ha!!). You've inspired me to dig out the cute one and do it! Just dig that cozy card of yours! Thanks for joining us on the MFT Challenge Leigh! :)
