Countdown to Confetti: Boxes 'n Balloons

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 3 of the May Release for Reverse Confetti! 

This month is a fantastic release,

with four new stamps sets & eight new Confetti Cuts!

Today, we're featuring a super fun set called Boxes 'n Balloons,

which comes with coordinating Confetti Cuts.

For my first card, I couldn't resist pairing Boxes 'n Balloons 

with the adorable giraffes from Lift Me Up.

I started by inking my background with a stencils I created with the clouds from Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts.

Then, I diecut two balloons from watercolour paper using the Boxes 'n Balloons Confetti Cuts,

which I inked up using my blending tool.

The first balloon was diecut from white cardstock and stamped with the fun sentiment

from Boxes 'n Balloons.

I diecut some kraft cardstock using the Basket Confetti Cuts

and blended some kraft ink onto the top layer.

To "attach" the basket to the balloons, I flipped my panel over and made three score lines

with my score-pal.

I stamped the giraffes and birds from Life Me Up onto their coordinating Confetti Cuts

and coloured them in using a paintbrush, water and ink pressed onto an acylic block.

I stamped the bow (also from Boxes 'n Balloons) onto a coordinating Confetti Cuts.

For my next card, I went with a similar design,

but this time, I just used one balloon from Boxes 'n Balloons.

I was inspired by Inspired By All the Little Things #14:

The red planes on the blue sky backgrounds inspired me to stamp

my Boxes 'n Balloons balloon in red.

And who would be more perfect to get carried away by the red balloon

than the adorable monkey from Monkey Business?

I stamped him on the coordinating Monkey Business Confetti Cuts

and coloured him in with some ink pressed onto my acrylic block,

some water and a paintbrush.

For the background, I diecut a cloud from

For my second card, I was inspired by the current

 Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

I was inspired by the colours in the photo, as well as the fabric,

so I decided to add some felt to my card. 

I stamped the present from Boxes 'n Balloons directly onto my card panel.

I stamped the bow onto its coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I diecut the flowers and leaves from felt using the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts,

Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts and Leafy Confetti Cuts.
