Cure For the Monday Blues #5

Today, I have a layout to share that I made for

I loved this photo and started thinking of ideas for a card.
But then, I realized that I really loved it as inspiration for a layout.

I started with some photos that Austin took of us in January.
I'd just wanted a photo of me reading to Sage & Jonah, as it's something we do almost
every night.
However, Jonah decided to be a little goofy while Austin was taking the photos!

For a change, I didn't use any patterned paper.

I used some Bazzill card stock (for the background) & PTI card stock for the rest.

I typed our names using my typewriter and then stamped a heart from
Ali Edwards' Technique Tuesday Incredible stamp set.
I stamped the heart again in red and then stamped the date with my date stamp.
The Good Times and flower image is from Basic Grey/Hero Arts Sunshine stamp set.

These stamps are all from the AE Incredible set.

I copied the poster from the inspiration photo almost identically, but
I had to line everything up. ;)
For this, I used my Mama Elephant Inline Alphabet dies.

Thanks for looking!

I have to agree Leigh - the inspiration is *perfect* for a layout, and your layout is a *perfect* representation of the inspiration!! Love all your frames and the intermix with stamping and die cut letters (I totally love that poster too, hence my own creation for the challenge!). I am so happy to see you enter the challenge again!! Thanks so much for playing to Cure The Monday Blues!

Awesome layout, Leigh! Of course it makes sense now to turn this inspiration into a layout. It's got a really great feel to it, especially with the different colored letters in your large panel!
